Welcome to J'adore Laser & Spa, located in the vibrant community of White Rock! I'm Jayline, the proud owner of this little haven of self-care and transformation from Surrey, BC. Let me take you through our story, share what makes us unique and our commitment to you.

Since elementary school, I've battled with acne, enduring the hurtful comments and bullying that often accompanies it. The struggle was not limited to school alone; I faced judgment even within my own family. I hated my skin and felt insecure.

These experiences ignited a fire, and I discovered my true passion - helping others feel confident in their skin. Witnessing the incredible transformations occurring when we nurture and restore skin health became my ultimate motivation.

Growing up, I was privileged to observe my mother's journey as a nurse-turned-esthetician. In Indian culture, pursuing esthetics was not a conventional career path. However, my mother's determination to follow her dreams to fight to be an esthetician left a lasting impression on me.

My path to becoming an esthetician was a rollercoaster. I initially enrolled in kinesiology to become a physiotherapist. But I hated it. I would study for days and still somehow fail. I continued because my family expected me to pursue a traditional degree.

"Jayline, you have to get a degree!" 

To support myself during my studies, I joined an esthetician course and opened J'adore Laser & Spa, starting in 2018 in Surrey, BC. Little did I know that this seemingly temporary job would become the catalyst for my true calling.

As I navigated the pressure to conform to societal expectations, I suffered through university while growing my esthetician business. The success of J'adore Laser & Spa began to take shape, and my parents finally recognized this and my passion for it. With their support, I left behind the traditional education path and wholeheartedly embraced the world of esthetics.

I understand feeling judged and questioned for pursuing a different path, especially within our Indian community. Even today, I encounter older relatives who assume that my J'adore Laser & Spa is a part-time job while I pursue a degree. 

"Jayline, you are still in school right?"

But let me tell you, this is not a side gig for me; it's my true passion, my purpose in life. I love helping people love their skin!
